Professional and personal lives sometimes diverge. An attorney who defends victims of sexual-harassment in the workplace has been charged with rape. Three women who the lawyer met through an ad on Craigslist are bringing sexual assault charges.

The attorney’s lawyer says the women came to his San Francisco apartment willingly. However, the district attorney’s office is taking the women’s accusations seriously telling The San Francisco Chronicle, "It takes a lot for victims of sexual assault to come forward." Erica Terry Derryck said, “In many cases, they have to face their attackers in open court. They deserve respect, and their allegations should be taken seriously and examined closely. That's what we are doing here."
