Rules of Engagement: How to Bring About Wellness in Workers

Employers everywhere are implementing wellness programs, but the key to success is developing and sustaining employee engagement. If workers don’t understand it, don’t feel enticed or worse yet get turned off, the employer's valuable wellness program dollars will go to waste.

Dr. Michele Dodds will show you secrets to wellness program design, what employee engagement really looks like, how to create meaningful rewards and avoid pitfalls, how to communicate in a compelling way and how to bring about lasting results.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss how to get even the most jaded employees' attention and communicate "what's in it for me."
  • Structure a wellness program that both targets the organization's health problems and fuels action with the right incentives.
  • Design ongoing communications to speak to your particular audience.
  • Understand how to use benchmark data showing key employee health problems in industries such as manufacturing, business services, health care, government, and more.
