FMLA: New Regs and New Strategies




The Family and Medical Leave Act continues to increase in complexity, with new provisions added for military personnel and changes to definitions made by the Department of Labor. In this session, Jim Brown, vice president of FMLASource, will explain the new regulations, what they mean to your organization and how you and your staff can more effectively manage FMLA absences.

She advises employers on processes and corporate policies for managing FMLA leave and helps employers determine eligibility of leave requests. Rebecca has a background in human resources and benefits administration, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.
