OSHA's Most Cited Standard: Spruce Up Your HazCom Program, Before OSHA Comes Knocking

The Hazard Communication Standard, also known as Employee Right-to-Know, has been around since the mid-1980s. Yet, it still represents large numbers of citations issued by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration for employer non-compliance. Too often, this standard is viewed by employers as a nuisance with which to comply, missing the opportunity to make the standard work for them to improve safe practices.

Join us on March 16th when our safety expert will discuss positive, effective strategies for implementing the HazComm Standard at your workplace. Going beyond compliance requirements, this audio conference will offer real-world solutions in helping you and your managers recognize the value of HazComm in a different way.

Learning Objectives:

  • An overview of the basic components of the HazComm Standard.
  • Steps to effectively train your employees in HazComm for compliance and best practices.
  • Examples of effectively using components of the Standard during employee training sessions.
  • Daily role of front-line supervisors and managers in complying with HazComm.
  • Ways to ensure your HazComm written program stays current/up-to-date.
  • Take-away tips that you can begin using immediately.
