Stephanie Burgess, CSP, MBA has over 18 years experience as a safety, health and environmental compliance professional. As the Operations Manager, for Safety, Health Environment for the North American Division of a major electrical manufacturing company, Stephanie has provided training and support in implementing Respiratory Protection Programs. Stephanie also worked in healthcare for over 7 years supporting medical respiratory protection programs (TB, and pandemic flu planning.) Stephanie is a Certified Respirator Training Instructor.
She is a graduate of Clemson University (1990) with a B.S. in Management and a concentration in Occupational Safety and Health and the Middle Tennessee State University (1997) with a Masters in Business Administration and a concentration in Psychology.
She Chairs the Erie County, NY Local Emergency Planning Committee working with Government and Public Sector to improve Tier II reporting, County Comprehensive Emergency Planning and supporting the Western New York Cross Border Area.
She is a member of American Society of Safety Engineers, credentialed by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, a member of the Regional Healthcare evaluation team by the American Conference of Emergency Physicians, Executive Committee Member of the FPS Web Portal Information Sharing Western New York, Volunteer Medical provider for the Specialized Medical Assistance Response Team and Volunteer firefighter starting over 22 years ago in volunteer fire service.
