Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace & Avoiding Costly Litigation

Sexual harassment is not only harmful, it's costly. A 34 million dollar settlement against a major automaker is just one example of the serious impact it has on corporate America. All of this took place before the most recent Supreme Court decision, which makes employers more vulnerable than ever to sexual harassment suits.
In today’s business environment, even non-sexual behavior can be considered sexual harassment. You as an employer are responsible for the acts of your customers and clients as they interact with your employees. Also, quid pro quo harassment will result in "strict liability,” which means there is no affirmative defense to liability.
With 40-80% of working women and 10-15% of men experiencing sexual harassment in their lifetimes, you can be sure the future will bring more eye-opening settlements. Join us for a 90-minute audio conference as we discuss how you can you prevent or eliminate sexual harassment in your workplace.
